The PENN TOWNSHIP PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE will meet on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. The Public Works Committee, the Finance Committee and Health and Sanitation meetings will be held successively following the Public Safety Committee. The meetings will be held at the Penn Township Municipal Building, 20 Wayne Avenue, Hanover, PA. The public is invited to attend.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Penn Township Board of Commissioners, Penn Township, York County, Pennsylvania, in accordance with the First-Class Township Code plans to adopt the following ordinances at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, July 19, 2021 at the Township Municipal Building, 20 Wayne Avenue, Hanover, PA. A copy of the text may be examined in the Penn Township Municipal Building during regular business hours. A summary of the text is as follows:
Ordinance No. 840
An Ordinance laying out and adopting as public roads portions of Red Rock Run, Ripple Drive, Pearl Drive, Whispering Lane (East), Whispering Lane (West) and Bair Road being situate in the Township of Penn, York County, Pennsylvania.
Ordinance No. 841
An Ordinance of the Township of Penn, York County, Pennsylvania, approving the plan of construction of sanitary collection sewers within and to that portion of the Township of Penn consisting of Bair Road, Whispering Lane, Pearl Drive, Ripple Drive, Red Rock Run and off-site improvements with designated rights-of-way, as more fully hereinafter described as required by Chapter 245 of the Penn Township Code and Ordinance 683.
Section 1.Authorizes the construction of sanitary sewer on Bair Road, Whispering Lane, Pearl Drive, Ripple Drive, and Red Rock Run and lists the description of the sewer runs. Section 2.The aforementioned said sanitary sewers have been constructed, and are or have been ready for use. Section 3.Establishes whom the sewer will serve.
