POLICE ACCREDITATION

On July 14, 2003 the Penn Township Police Department was officially recognized as the first York County police department to be awarded the Certificate of Law Enforcement Accreditation by the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association. The Police Department was again accredited in  July of 2006. Above are former Police Chief Samuel Gilbert and accreditation manager Deputy Chief Laughlin displaying the Township's two certificates along with Commissioners Johnson and Prieber.
