Penn Township Volunteer Emergency Services (PTVES) is the volunteer fire department in the Township. A majority of the money needed to operate the company comes from various fundraisers. All residents are welcome to join the fire company and become an active member.
The ambulance service in the Township is also supplied by Penn Township Volunteer Emergency Services. It is operated by both paid and volunteer personnel. All residents are invited to join by paying the annual fee which entitles citizens to free ambulance service if needed.
Penn Township also maintains a full time fire fighter staff that is operated twenty four hours a day seven days a week. The Township has one fire station located at 204 Clover Lane.
